Fr Richard Sloan

Richard is a priest of the Liverpool archdiocese, with pastoral experience in both the UK and the Bolivian Andes. Aware that, as TS Eliot says, “we can have the experience and miss the meaning,” he subsequently trained as an Integrative Psychosynthesis practitioner and counselling supervisor. After many years of practice, he now finds himself principally engaged in the accompaniment of priests and Religious. He lives in Huyton and works in collaboration with the Helpers of the Holy Souls community, engaged in spiritual accompaniment, retreats, counselling and supervision. Flowing from the ‘Male Journey UK’ movement he is involved in men’s support groups.
